Trucks - update of 5 Year Rolling Capital Works Program

By 30 June 2008, a total of 92 appliances will be completed this financial year against a planned 93 appliances, as outlined in the CFA Annual Plan (although the mix of appliances is different due to production delays).

These 92 appliances are as follows:

Seventy-seven (77) of these appliances are fully funded from the CFA 5 Year Rolling Capital Works Program, the estimated expenditure being $23 million for these appliances. The other fifteen (15) appliances are from the Community Safety Emergency Support Program (CSESP) Program, which is partially funded from CFA, government and brigades.

In terms of the 5 Year Rolling Capital Works Program, due for completion by 30 June 2009, the following programs are currently in manufacture with completion due no later than 30 June 2009:

Has the final design been decided for the light pumpers and if so is it available to view ?

We got a 3.4D dual cab at our brigade under the CSEP program. Only issue is that it's 15 tonnes which is quite a bit more than some of the local bridges. So I think I might stay on the older tanker if we have to turn out locally.
