Firefighters recognised on World Environment Day

Australia's oldest environmental organisation, The Gould Group, has celebrated its centenary with the creation of a Centenary Firefighters Certificate to recognise the work done by the emergency services to protect bird habitat.

It's the first time in Gould's 100 years that a new certificate has been created and the occasion was marked on World Environment Day (June 5) in Federation Square.
