Chelsea Heights factory fire

A fire broke out in a factory in Ashley Park Drive in Chelsea Heights around 5:30 pm yesterday (21 August). The double storey building contained marine products and boating equipment.

Multiple units from CFA attended, along with MFB crews, and they managed to contain the fire to the one building and prevent boats stored at the rear from fire damage.

Fire Officer Ken Evans
from Patterson River Fire Brigade was the OIC .

The cause of the fire is being investigated.
