In August, CFA was fortunate enough to be part of IAG’s annual supplier night. The event brought together 600 guests, all linked to the insurance agency for a night of dining, dancing and to raise some funds. CFA and the Reach Foundation were joint beneficiaries of more than $60,000 raised during the frivolity.
This was done predominantly by auction of memorabilia including an autographed KISS guitar, signed Michael Schumacher helmet and raffle with prizes that included a $10,000 diamond. Organised by a team from IAG, guests were entertained by Ross Wilson and the Urban Legends and, of course, CFA’s own Captain Koala had a boogie.
The night was also an opportunity to showcase CFA’s new light pumper, which shone in the decorated ball room. Funds raised will benefit rural CFA brigades over the coming year.
