CFA staff member presents at Return to Work Forum 2008

CFA's Workcover Claims Officer & Return to Work Coordinator Michelle Trotter was invited to present a session at the Return to Work Forum 2008, held in November in Melbourne.

It was Michelle's first time presenting at such an event. "I am very passionate about my role in helping members return to work, and also about safety in the workplace, so being asked to present at the forum was a real honour."

In her presentation, Michelle talked about her role in CFA and how she assists injured members with their return to work plans. She also used a few case studies to show how she handles different scenarios at CFA.

"At the end of the day we should never forget that we are dealing with a person who has been injured in their workplace doing their job," said Michelle. "All of us hope that we will go home at the end of the day to our family the same we left them at the start of the day."
