CFA commended for IPAA award









The Institute of Public Administration of Australia (Victoria) has announced the winners of the inaugural IPAA Victoria
Leadership in the Public Sector Awards.

CFA was awarded a commendation in the category of Healthy and Safe Workplaces Award for it's
Health and Wellbeing programs.

This award recognises departments, agencies and internal work units that demonstrate leadership in and commitment to promoting healthy, safe and inclusive work environments.

The award promotes the public sector as a model employer, offering working environments that attract and retain excellent people.


The winner of the Healthy and Safe Workplaces Award
was the Department of Primary Industries – PrimarySafe, OHS Team, People and Culture.

Other finalists were the
City of Melbourne - Human Resources OHS / Wellbeing Strategy and the Glen Eira City Council - OHS Program.

The winners were announced on Monday 16 February at Parliament House before an audience of 140 dis
tinguished guests.

CFA CEO Neil Bibby attended the night and accepted the award on behalf of CFA.
