CFA embraces Earth Hour 2009

Earth Hour is back for 2009 and CFA is encouraging all its members to participate. In its third year, Earth Hour has become a global event and will officially take place on Saturday 28 March at 8:30pm.

This Saturday 1 billion people worldwide will ‘switch off’ for Earth Hour. This simple action will send a powerful message to the world’s leaders - that it is possible to take action on climate change .

Earth Hour began in Sydney in 2007, when 2.2 million homes and businesses switched off their lights for one hour.

VOTE EARTH by simply switching off your lights for one hour, and join the world for Earth Hour.
