CFA tribute at Winton Raceway

All 32 V8 Utes taking part in Round two of the 2009 Yokohama V8 Ute Racing Series will pay tribute to CFA at Winton Raceway, 1 - 3 May 2009.

A CFA logo will be placed on the top sides of each V8 ute's bonnet.

Series personnel and their sponsors were directly involved in the 2009 Victorian Bushfires.

BRUCK Textiles, a series sponsor and supplier, implemented a policy of paid time off for CFA volunteers.

Ben Dunn, an industry worker associated with BRUCK Textiles, said everyone invovled supported the initiative.

"Staff were on the front line fighting fires and helping their communities. The entire V8 Ute family want to show its respect and say thank you by displaying CFA’s logo on all 32 race Utes."
