Hundreds of CFA members turned out in force to raise funds for the Royal Children's Hospital Good Friday Appeal earlier this month.
CFA volunteers joined forces with other emergency service groups to rattle tins for the Royal Children's Hospital. Almost 200 people helped to collect donations.
After a full day’s collecting, the hard-working CFA members arrived at Etihad Stadium, the appeal headquarters, to the deliver the donations.
Appeal director Christine Unsworth applauded the spirit of CFA members.
"Their continuing efforts, even in these most stressful times, highlight the calibre of these wonderful men and women," Ms Unsworth told The Weekly Times.
The total amount raised for the Good Friday Appeal was $13,862,734.
