Frankston CFA staff 50 year reunion

Current Frankston OIC Jim Dore (right) with inaugural 1958 Frankston OIC Frank Allisey (1958)

Frankston Fire Brigade has a rich tradition of volunteerism dating back to 1889. In 1958, to cope with the increasing demand on its then volunteers, Frankston became an integrated brigade.

Fifty years on, Jim Dore, current Frankston OIC, and Frank Allisey, the inaugural Frankston OIC (1958), join together in requesting attendance of former appointed Station Staff to help celebrate 50 years of service from its career
personnel.

Part of the fabric and fibre of Frankston Fire Brigade
has been the people who have been involved over the years. The current membership of Frankston Fire Brigade would like to extend a warm welcome to past staff and volunteers who have affiliation with the station, to return and celebrate fifty years of career staff at Frankston.

Personalities, characters and yarns of the past should be celebrated and appreciated along with emergency response achievements. It is time to reunite and rekindle old friendships and fond memories.

Anyone who can attend and/or assist us in contacting past staff should reply to the brigade to register details for catering and furth
er information. Email is the preferred correspondence if available (saves on postage).
