Emergency services fishing competition

The challenge is on; a social fishing competition between all emergency services agencies.

When: Mon 13 October 2008 &Tues 14 October 2008.

Times: Lines down 12.00pm 13 October 2008. Lines up 12.00pm 14 October 2008. Weigh-in closes 1.00pm 14 October @ Lake Purrumbete Boat ramp. Both Lakes Purrumbete & Bullen Merri are open to competition.

Fish eligible: Brown & Rainbow Trout, All Salmon and Red Fin. No EELS.

Teams of four for team entries and individual entries. Prize for the winning Emergency Service will be the “KILLA PERPETUAL TROPHY” in honour of the late Senior Sgt Ian Kilpatrick.

Prizes for Heaviest fish caught and heaviest species. All proceeds to go to Kids with Cancer Foundation (Royal Childrens Hosptial).

Cost: $20.00 per person including a B.B.Q Lunch on weigh-in.
