Rocking on a Back Road - Sunbury Backroad Festival

Back Road festival banner

The Back Road Festival is once again bringing music to the farm at Sunbury. Saturday 18 October is your chance to hear some of Australia’s best Rock and Blues acts from the 70s and 80s mixing it with some new bands continuing the tradition.

$1 from every ticket sold will be donated to CFA.

The impressive line-up includes:

  • Black Feather - the legendary 70s Australian rock band has reformed, and is still fronted by Neale Johns, one of the country’s finest vocalists (with classics Seasons of Change and Boppin’ the Blues).
  • Swanee (He's Gonna Step On You Again, Is this the Way to Say Goodbye)
  • Bronnie Gordon Blues Band (Stranger in my Bed)
  • Trevor Young (from the Coloured Balls)
  • Bridget Robertson
  • And many more!
“This isn’t about tarnishing the memory of the iconic Sunbury Rock Festivals of the 70’s” say key organisers Bernard Lakey and Chris Galea. “This is about giving a whole new generation a chance to hear some fantastic music.”

Tickets are available from the Sunbury Visitors Information Centre (SVIC). You can either purchase direct from SVIC or download a form here.

So get yourself a ticket now and get on down to the BackRoad Festival.

Limited tickets are available - and they’re selling fast!
