The CFA Firefighters Memorial mini-website has been launched and can be accessed via CFA's public website.
The site pays tribute to CFA firefighters who have lost their lives in the line of duty. It includes information about the memorial service held each year, the memorial wall at Fiskville, the Firefighter's Prayer and most importantly, a roll of honour containing the name, date, brigade and incident location of those brave members lost in the line of duty.
There is also a section to recognise firefighters from the Country Fire Brigades and Bush Fire Brigades who lost their lives prior to the formation of CFA. Although this information is currently quite limited, further research is being undertaken to compile a more comprehensive list.
