The efforts of two CFA Public Affairs members have been published in two international publications.
CFA Photographer/Image Specialist Keith Pakenham’s photos of a trench rescue operation have been published in Underground Focus, a magazine on below-ground damage prevention. One of Keith’s photos was used as the cover image for the magazine’s October/November 2008 edition, as well as in an article on trenching accidents. The photos were originally published in the 16 May 2008 edition of Fire Flyer and the Winter 2008 edition of CFA's Brigade magazine.
Darren Grevis-James' feature on CFA's fleet of Austin tankers and the evolution of the tanker was published in the December 2008 edition of Asia Pacific Fire Magazine. The feature, first published in the Winter 2008 edition of CFA’s Brigade magazine, also included photos by Keith and from CFA’s Asset Management Directorate.
